Glossary for Anemia, Sideroblastic

  • Acute leukemia: An acute condition which affects a cell line of the blood which shows little or no differentiation
  • Anemia: Reduced ability of blood to carry oxygen from various possible causes.
  • Blood conditions: Conditions that affect the blood
  • Breathing difficulties: Various types of breathing difficulty (dyspnea).
  • Chest pain: Pain in the chest area.
  • Fatigue: Excessive tiredness or weakness.
  • Pearson's anemia: Pearson's anemia is a rare progressive condition characterized by abnormal pancreatic functioning and sideroblastic anemia. Diagnosis usually occurs within the first 7 years of life and death in infancy is common.
  • Weakness: Symptoms causing weakness of the body
