Glossary for Bone-Marrow failure syndromes

  • Anemia: Reduced ability of blood to carry oxygen from various possible causes.
  • Aplastic anemia: A blood disorder where the bone marrow produces insufficient new blood cells.
  • Blood conditions: Conditions that affect the blood
  • Bone Marrow Conditions: Medical conditions affecting the bone marrow
  • Fatigue: Excessive tiredness or weakness.
  • Lethargy: feeling of tiredness
  • Progressive weakness: is a direct term for the inability to exert force with one's muscles to the degree that would be expected given the individual's general physical fitness
