Chorea is a neurological disorder characterized by involuntary spasmodic movements of the body. Movements are jerky and arrhythmic, and may involve the whole body. Other symptoms include muscle weakness, clumsiness, and gait disturbances. (Source: excerpt from NINDS Chorea Information Page: NINDS)
