Genetic-dominant: Dominant genetic diseases of any chromosome (sex or non-sex)
Introduction: Dominant diseases are a type of genetic disease; the opposite is recessive diseases. A dominant disease means that a single genetic mutation (usually inherited from a parent) will cause the disease. There is (usually) no form of carrier for a dominant disease. There are two main types of dominant genetic disease: autosomal dominant genetic disease, and x-linked dominant genetic disease.
