Glossary for Emotional stress

  • Anxiety conditions: Medical conditions related to anxiety, fear, and panic.
  • Bipolar disorder: Cycles of mania and depression; commonly called "manic-depression".
  • Fatigue: Excessive tiredness or weakness.
  • Gastroenteritis: Acute stomach or intestine inflammation
  • Generalised anxiety disorder: Anxiety is a feeling of apprehension or fear.
  • Hypothyroidism: Too little thyroid hormone production.
  • Impaired concentration: The impairment of ones ability to concentrate
  • Insomnia: Insomnia is defined as repeated difficulty with the initiation, duration, maintenance, or quality of sleep that occurs despite adequate time and opportunity for sleep that results in some form of daytime impairment.
  • Mania: Inappropriate euphoric mood
  • Memory problems: Memory problems are difficulties with recalling people, places, names, events and other points.
  • Mental health conditions: Medical conditions related to mental health, emotions, behavior, personality, psychology, psychiatry, and so on.
  • Moodiness: Inappropriate moods or excessive mood changes
  • Panic attack: Sudden attack of unreasonable panic or fear without any real danger
  • Stress: Emotional stress (sometimes refers to physical stress)
