Glossary for Generalised anxiety disorder

  • Agarophobia:
  • Anxiety conditions: Medical conditions related to anxiety, fear, and panic.
  • Fatigue: Excessive tiredness or weakness.
  • Headache: In medicine a headache or cephalalgia is a symptom of a number of different conditions of the head and sometimes neck. Some of the causes are benign while others are medical emergencies. It ranks among the most common pain complaints
  • Mental health conditions: Medical conditions related to mental health, emotions, behavior, personality, psychology, psychiatry, and so on.
  • Muscle aches: Aches affecting one or more muscles
  • Muscle tension: The amount of tension a muscle has on it
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder: Behavioral disorder with obsessive thoughts and compulsive acts.
  • Pheochromocytoma: Pheochromocytoma is a neuroendocrine tumor of the medulla of the adrenal glands (originating in the chromaffin cells), or extra-adrenal chromaffin tissue that failed to involute after birth and secretes excessive amounts of catecholamines, usually epinephrine and norepinephrine.
  • Postpartum blues: depression due to pregnancy
  • Postpartum depression: The occurrence of depression in a woman that occurs after the birth of a child
  • Shivering: Body or skin shaking or shivering symptoms
  • Social phobia: Excessive anxiety in social situations.
