Glossary for Madelung deformity

  • Bessel-Hagen disease: A dominantly inherited disorder characterized by growth of multiple tumors made up of cartilage on the bones.
  • Bone conditions: Conditions that affect the bones
  • Dyschondrosteosis: A bone dysplasia which causes bowing of the radius and dislocation of the ulna and carpal bones
  • Dyschondrosteosis -- nephritis: A very rare syndrome characterized mainly by abnormal bone development and kidney disease.
  • Forearm conditions: Medical conditions affecting the forearm region.
  • Langer mesomelic dysplasia: A rare genetic disorder characterized by mesomelic dwarfism, small jaw and forearm abnormalities.
  • Leri-Weil syndrome: A rare genetic disorder characterized by short forearms, madelung deformity and short lower legs in some cases.
  • Limb conditions: Medical conditions affecting the upper or lower limbs.
  • Musculoskeletal conditions: Medical conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system of bones, muscles and related structures.
