Glossary for Mental retardation -- short stature -- cleft palate -- unusual facies

  • Broad nose: A broad nose is a nose that is wider and larger than the average nose.
  • Cleft palate: Birth defect of lip and mouth.
  • Facial anomalies: Facial anomalies include any type of deformity or malformation of the face.
  • Finger symptoms: Symptoms affecting any fingers
  • Mental retardation: A very rare syndrome characterized mainly by mental retardation, hypogonadism, diabetes and facial and skull abnormalities.
  • Short stature: A rare syndrome characterized mainly by the association of short stature, Pierre Robin sequence, cleft mandible, hand anomalies and clubfoot.
