Glossary for Motion sickness

  • Child health conditions: Any medical conditions typically afflicting children.
  • Cyclic vomiting syndrome: A rare disorder involving repeated cyclic episodes of vomiting which occur for no obvious reason.
  • Headache: In medicine a headache or cephalalgia is a symptom of a number of different conditions of the head and sometimes neck. Some of the causes are benign while others are medical emergencies. It ranks among the most common pain complaints
  • Nausea: The queasy feeling of nausea and often also vomiting.
  • Other conditions resulting from external causes: Medical conditions caused by some external event, such as in the environment.
  • Paleness: Whitening or pallor of the skin
  • Perilymphatic fistula: An abnormal opening between the fluid-filled inner ear and air-filled middle ear. It generally causes sudden or fluctuating hearing loss.
  • Sea sickness: A condition characterized by a feeling of nausea resulting in vomiting caused by the continuous motion of the sea
  • Vague symptoms: Vague, unclear, mild or non-specific symptoms
  • Vertigo: The odd balance sensation of inappropriate spinning or movement of the environment
  • Vomiting: Vomiting or retching symptoms.
  • Yawning: When one opens their mouth for a deep inhalation usually involuntary
