Transcatheter pulmonary valve: A transcatheter pulmonary valve is a replacement valve for a poorly functioning pulmonary heart valve that has already been replaced or repaired. This type of valve (transcatheter) is implanted without open heart surgery and while the heart is beating. This type of valve may be made from animal as well as synthetic (man-made) parts.
