Medical specialties and medical malpractice: Almost any medical specialty or medical professional can be charged with medical malpractice. Some of the specialist areas that are known to commonly lead to medical malpractice cases include obstetrics (childbirth), anesthesiology (anesthetics in surgery), and neurology (brain/nerve specialist). However, almost any medical specialty can lead to medical malpractice claims. For example, there is also diabetes malpractice, dental malpractice, and psychiatric malpractice.
Always seek professional legal advice from an attorney or other qualified legal professional about medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or any other legal issue.
