Adrenaline: A sympathomimetic agent interacting with both alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptors, causing cardiac stimulation, vasoconstriction, bronchodilation, blood glucose elevation, and gastrointestinal relaxation. Clinical Use: Ventricular Fibrillation, Anaphylactic Shock, Asthma, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Glaucoma, and Topical Anesthetic-Adjuvant.(NCI)
