Description of Chlormethine

Chlormethine: One of a number of synthetic agents related to sulphur mustard with antineoplastic, immunosuppressive, irritant, and carcinogenic properties. Nitrogen mustards, including mechlorethamine, cyclophosphamide, and chlorambucil, are to a highly reactive ethylene immonium derivatives that interact with nucleic acids, alkylate DNA, and inhibit DNA replication.
