Chymase: EC 3.4.21.39; homologue of chymotrypsin.

Chymase: A family of neutral serine proteases with CHYMOTRYPSIN-like activity. Chymases are primarily found in the SECRETORY GRANULES of MAST CELLS and are released during mast cell degranulation.
