Description of Coxsackie B virus

Coxsackie B virus: One of the two groups of coxsackieviruses. They contain several serotypes and are associated with epidemic pleurodynia (PLEURODYNIA, EPIDEMIC) (B1, B3), myocarditis and endocarditis (B3, B1), respiratory disorders (B3, B5), and kidney, pancreas, and liver disorders.
