Kannerís syndrome: A type of psychosis that occurs during the first 2Ĺ years of an infants life. Signs of the condition include lack of attachment and eye contact, inability to develop social relationships, compulsive behavior and retardation.

Kannerís syndrome: type of autism characterized by very early detection (< 30 months), social coldness, grossly impaired communication, and bizarre motor responses.>
