Introduction: Methylmalonic acid

Description of Methylmalonic acid

Methylmalonic acid: A malonic acid derivative which is a vital intermediate in the metabolism of fat and protein. Abnormalities in methylmalonic acid metabolism lead to methylmalonic aciduria.
