1 billion people expected to die in 21st century from smoking related diseases.

One billion people will die from smoking-related diseases this century unless there is a change in people’s habits. The 20th century resulted in 100 million smoking related deaths. A quarter of smoking deaths occurs when patients are aged 35 to 69.
