A common brain cancer, glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) has been shown to be correlated with asthma prevalence in that asthma genes are protective of the brain tumor. Symptoms of the GBM include headache, tiredness, nausea and vomiting, it is more common over 65 years old and is often fatal.
