Breast milk may have potential as a cancer therapy

Research by the Lund University in Sweden which showed that breast milk was capable of destroying cancer cells in a test tube led to a milk bank in California providing breast milk twice a week to 28 adult cancer patients. One patient reported a strong correlation between his PSA levels and his consumption of the breast milk. However, some doctors warn that there is no proof of the ability of breast milk to kill cancer cells. Another recent study by the Lund University revealed that a component of breast milk was capable of destroying skin warts caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV).
