Cancer risk decreased with Vitamin D

Vitamin D has been linked to the body's production of new blood vessels, by inhibiting their development, which is a process that occurs with the formation of cancer. The vitamin, produced by the skin with the aid of sunlight, also inhibits the spread of cancer throughout the body. The researchers reviewed recent studies undertaken on Vitamin D in relation to breast, ovarian, prostate, and colonic cancers.
