Dairy consumption linked to increased ovarian cancer risk

New research indicates that dairy consumption may be linked to ovarian cancer. They found that the consumption of two or more glasses of milk or more than 4 serves of dairy products daily doubled the risk of ovarian cancer. They believe that the increased risk is due to the lactose in dairy which contains galactose. Research has shown a link between galactose and increased risk of ovarian cancer.
