Depression is a not a commonly acknowledged condition in Asia. The population in Asian countries is aging and families are tending to be smaller and start later. All of this tends to put more pressure on the middle age population thus making them more prone to depression. The condition needs to be recognized in order to be able to help Asian sufferers.
