Diet changes may improve effect of tamoxifen

Researchers have discovered that omega-3 and omega-6 consumption increases the therapeutic effect of the cancer treatment tamoxifen. In the animal study, high omega-6 consumption plus tamoxifen inhibited tumor growth by 66%; high omega-3 consumption inhibited tumor growth by 48%; and high omega-3 consumption plus tamoxifen inhibited tumor growth by nearly 80%.
