Drug governing board fails to expose risks caused by certain cold medicines

The Korea Food and Drug Administration failed to inform consumers about the risks associated with cold medicines containing phenylpropanolamine (PPA). Findings show that use of PPA increases the risk of hemorrhagic strokes, especially in those over 30.
