Herbal supplements prove their worth as a prostate cancer treatment

More doctors are promoting the benefits of certain herbal supplements combined with a "wellness" plan for men with prostate cancer. They believe that this treatment lowers PSA levels as well as reducing pain and improving the quality of life. The beneficial herbal supplements include PC SPES and PC Hope which have the same active herbal ingredients but PC Hope has added substances to increase the beneficial effects of PC SPES. Even clinical trials have reported the anti-cancer benefits of these herbal concoctions and it is recommended as an option to consider for prostate cancer sufferers. Results showed that 88% of subjects were able to achieve low PSA levels and some achieved undetectable levels. PC SPES also has anti inflammatory benefits which assists the immune system.
