Husband sues after his wife dies from meningitis following a misdiagnosis.

A woman was diagnosed as suffering from the flu and sinusitis but died from meningitis several weeks later. Her husband is suing the general practitioner for R1-million for negligence. He claims the doctor refused to acknowledge her deteriorating condition.
