Malpractice case fails

A malpractice case against a hospital has failed. The parents of a girl born with severe brain damage sued the hospital for $28.7 million as they believed the girl’s brain damage was caused by the doctors and nurses. However, the jury agreed with the defendant that the brain damage occurred two months after she was conceived.
