Many Pakistani workers were being blatantly exposed to asbestos from rocks

Professor Dr Arshad Javed of the Pakistan Chest Society claims that they see 100 cases of mesotheliomia per year and believes there may be 1000 or more undiagnosed cases. Mesotheliomia is a type of cancer caused by asbestos. Asbestos is found naturally in rocks in northern Pakistan and many people worked in industries where the rocks were utilized.
