Merck faces 465 lawsuits so far

465 lawsuits are so far set to attack the maker of Vioxx, Merck. 20 million people have consumed Vioxx since it became available. A study discovered that long-term use (18 months or more) increased the risk of heart attacks and strokes. An FDA expert claims that Vioxx caused as many as 160,000 heart attacks and strokes.
