More than 1 million people in UK suffer from a pain disease often misunderstood or ignored by doctors

It is believed that more than one million people in the UK suffer from Peripheral neuropathy (PN), an uncommon condition where nerved disturbances cause chronic pain. Undiagnosed, the condition worsens and quality of life deteriorates. A survey show that 25% of patients wait more than a year for referral to a specialist. The undiagnosed condition can lead to severe Neuropathic Pain where body parts become super-sensitive.
