New Advexin tumor shrinking drug developed

A gene company therapy has developed a drug called Advexin which, when used with chemotherapy prior to surgery, causes tumors to shrink by at least 50%. This potentially makes the surgery less invasive and more effective. Early trial results indicate that it is very successful. Patients with advanced breast cancer are particularly benefited by this tumor reduction therapy.
