New discovery on cause of type 2 diabetes

Researchers have made a huge discovery that could help prevent and treat type 2 diabetes. They have found that a hormone called HISS is responsible for sugar storage as well as insulin. People with type 2 diabetes have low levels of HISS or none. The goal now is how to enhance levels of HISS or prevent its non-production.
