New prostate cancer marker encouraging

Prostate cancer might be identifiable at an earlier stage due to the discovery of a new biological marker of prostate cancer, EPCA. Prostate tissue samples in the study were stained for EPCA, and 94% of those samples containing cancer were positive for the marker. Earlier detection and therefore treatment of cancer improves survival outcome.
