Parasites infect up to half of aboriginal population

Up to half of the aboriginal population in Arnhem Land, Australia, is infected by the Strongyloides parasite. This is one of the highest rates in to world. Sufferers can unknowingly be infected for decades and death can be caused by the resulting pneumonia or meningitis.
