Parents awarded 225,000 after baby dies at fourth foster home

Parents of a child who died while in the hands of the Human Services Department claimed compensation for wrongful death and were awarded $225,000. Apparently, the baby was removed from one foster home suffering from severe nappy rash. After being treated and placed in the fourth foster care home, the child died allegedly from SIDS. The judge awarded the claim even though he admitted that the HSD had not actually done anything wrong.
