Parents searched for answers for their daughter who had physical symptoms such as a twisted nostril, drooping eye, some upward jutting teeth, missing eyelashes on some parts of eyelid, upper lip deformity and a deepening depression on her cheek. She was diagnosed with Parry Romberg Syndrome - a disease that will gradually cause tissue destruction around her cheek and could ultimately leave her with gross deformities. The condition is incurable. The whole family is suffering deeply because of the lack of knowledge about the condition and what's ahead. Support groups such as The Romberg's Connection Web site has provided at least some base support for those looking for answers and information or just someone to talk to.
