European researchers have finalized an interesting study involving nearly 30,000 twins which attempted to determine if there was any relationship between personality types and risk of cancer. They found that cancer risk was not directly or indirectly affected by different personality types eg neurotic, outgoing. The study also concluded that optimistic people did not have a better chance of recovering from cancer than pessimistic people. Some experts have previously suggested that neurotic or extroverted people may be more prone to cancer.
