Settlement of 500,000 after elderly resident falls 8 times

A nursing home was sued for medical malpractice when one of the residents repeatedly fell and injured herself. No plan was put in place to prevent further falls. Her last fall of 8 falls resulted in several fractures which allegedly led to her death. The case was settled for $500,000.
