Solarium tanning exposes people to greater skin cancer risk

The Cancer Council of Australia has revealed that about 290,000 people have used solariums in Australia. Solariums can produce 5 times the amount of UV that a midday sun does and thus increases the risk of skin cancer. Women aged 25 to 44 were the biggest solarium users.
