Staph infection outbreak among inmates at jail goes untreated for months

Inmates at Miami-Dade County jail were infected by a highly contagious, antibiotic-restistant strain of staph infection. Corrections medical officials initially misdiagnosed the disease, did not notify the public and delayed treatment. The outbreak continued for months before treatment.
