A surgeon and her hospital is being charged for malpractice after a gastric bypass operation went horribly wrong. The lawsuit is one of 11. The doctor had performed many hundred gastric bypass surgeries within 3 years, although 6 people have been reported to have died from complications directly related to their procedure.
