Temperature control of feet can prevent ulcers in diabetics

Leg and foot ulcers may be prevented in severe diabetics by closely monitoring their foot temperature. If the foot starts to get too warm, then the patient needs to reduce their activity level and cool their foot down. Studies found this prevention method very effective. Leg and foot ulcers can lead to amputations.
