Traditional herbal remedies being studied provide positive results

Researchers are making findings that traditional herbal remedies may actually work. They found that the Indian curry-leaf tree extract does provide benefits in the treatment of diabetes. Their aim now is to isolate the active compound and use it to deliver more effective diabetes treatment. They have also found that the Commelina diffusa extract can assist wound healing and protect against infection. Also, traditional lung cancer treatment using Thai and Chinese plants has also shown potential.
