Undiagnosed iron overload disease proves fatal

A woman went through years of suffering and saw seven doctors when her husband happened to see a news article about her condition. ' They realized that she had hereditary hemochromatosis (iron overload) but the diagnosis was too late and fatal damage had occurred to her body. It is believed 2 million Americans suffer from this disease which can be easily managed by regular blood donations.
