Vitamin B12 levels linked to success of depression treatment

Researchers have concluded that patients with depression respond better to treatment if they have high levels of vitamin B12. They recommend that patients with depression be tested and treated for B1, B2, B6 and B12 deficiency in order to maximize treatment benefits. Vitamin B1, B2 and B6 are used by the body to make B12.
