Woman dies from cancer under advice from an alternative medicine practitioner

A man has been charged with unlawful and unprofessional conduct after discouraging a woman from having surgery to remove to malignant lumps. He also discouraged her from undergoing chemotherapy. The man practices alternative medicine but was not licensed in the state where he treated the woman. The woman died after 6 months without treatment, just as her oncologist had advised she would.
