Woman has ovary transplanted into arm_1

Doctors have transplanted a woman’s ovary into her arm following cervical cancer surgery to remove the womb. The ovarian autotransplantation procedure ensured the ovaries would be protected from radiotherapy treatment and blood supply from the arm would keep it functional. This procedure has reportedly been done only on one other person.
