Women suffers severe medical conditions on top of misdiagnosed myasthenia gravis

A young woman was first misdiagnosed with asthma at the age of 16. Medications didn't alleviate her symptoms but doctors couldn't find anything else wrong. She was eventually diagnosed with acid reflux and further testing revealed stomach cancer and myasthenia gravis which is a neurological disease whose symptoms include vision disturbance and balance disorder. Radiation was effective on the cancer but she ended up having a stroke due to the death of some of her brain tissue caused by the length of time that the myasthenia gravis went undiagnosed. She then developed a rare malignant tumor in her esophagus which required surgery and radiation.
