Adrenal Hormones: Adrenal hormones include a variety of chemicals that are produced by the adrenal glands. The adrenal hormones include epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine, and the adrenal cortical hormones. The adrenal hormones had a wide variety of effects on the body's processes, such as metabolism, water and electrolyte balance, the fight or flight response, and the anti-inflammatory response. Conditions that can afflict adrenal hormones include Addison's disease, Cushing's syndrome, pheochromocytoma, adrenal tumors, adrenal cancer, and trauma.
